PCAA examination system is managed and invigilated by PCAA officials. Examination supervisors process applications for appearing in exam, accept payment vouchers, schedule the exam sessions for candidates, provide pre and post exam details. Candidates shall address enquiries and requests for change / cancellation of exam sessions and venues by sending their applications to Additional Director Examinations, Personnel Licensing Directorate either physically or by e-mail on following address:
The detail of technical examinations including details of papers required for a specific licence / rating, the syllabi and breakdown of each paper and the number of questions are described in ANO-002-LCXX. The detailed instructions for candidates to be followed for submitting application and during the conduct of examinations have also been developed and can be downloaded for information and compliance.
Personnel Licensing Directorate (S & P Branch) processes and issues Pilot licenses, Flight crew Licences other than Pilots (i.e; Flight Engineers) and to various other aviation personnel such as Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Air traffic Control Officers, Flight Operations Offices under the framework derived from Civil Aviation Rules 1994 (CARs 94) Parts V, VII, XVIII and XIX. Moreover, Pakistan CAA PEL Directorate issues Cabin Crew Competency Certificates & Micro-Light Competency Certificates besides certification and oversight of Aviation Training Organizations.
